Rain!  It was in the forecast for Saturday, September 21, 2013.  And on that day, it did just that!  It rained all day until 4:30.  Needless to say, we had to make several adjustments to our schedule, but it all worked out.  It always does.  I was so impressed with Matthew and Cassandra's positive attitudes.  Cassandra said,  "If it rains on my wedding day, I am ok with it".  "I am marrying my best friend and that is all that matters."

 

The wedding and reception were held on the beautiful, historic island of Blennerhassett Island State Park, http://www.blennerhassettislandstatepark.com/.

 

As I sift through the images I captured on that day, there is so much happiness.  Cassandra didn't stress about her dress getting muddy.  She had so much happiness in her heart, the material things just didn't matter to her.   

 

After I sent the online picture link to Cassandra to view her final wedding images,  I received this text message from her:  "You made me cry and laugh all over again looking at these!"  "You captured all the memories".

 

Best wishes to MANY years of happiness to Matthew and Cassandra.
