{ Neill Gender Reveal Party }

I remember the anticipation of waiting to find out the gender of my baby.  Such an exciting time!

So, when Valerie contacted me about photographing her gender reveal party, that sounded like a great time! What was more exciting was the fact that Tim nor Valerie knew the gender and were waiting along with the family to find out at the party!

Valerie put me in charge of hanging the pinata so she wouldn't accidentally see what color the confetti was inside the pinata.  Talk about having discipline!  I just don't know how she held back from peeking.  I just couldn't wait to see the look on Tim and Valerie's face when the pinata released either blue or pink confetti.  Valerie said I could "peek" inside of the pinata if I wanted too.   But I just thought I have waited this long too, I might as well be surprised right along with the Tim, Valerie and their family.

The look on Tim's face when he saw the blue confetti falling to the ground was priceless.  He didn't stop smiling for what seemed to be an hour.

What a wonderful memory Tim and Valerie will have for their baby boy to have and look back on someday.  Pictures are truly priceless.

Thank you Tim and Valerie for allowing me to capture the beginning memories of your family.

Best wishes!

Jenn :)

{ And Baby Makes Five }

When customers come back for more sessions, it is a wonderful feeling of getting to know them better each time.  As you may have remembered my winter "Polar Vortex" session with the Nelson's, this time the session welcomed a new addition to their family, Maddox Shawn Nelson.

Although Tara and I went to the same high school, I never really knew her well until now.  My heart has felt blessed when photographing Tara and her family.  She really has a true love for making sure she gets special moments captured for hanging on her wall.

Those tiny little hands and feet of baby Maddox will never be that small again but Tara and Troy will always have these images to look back on for many years to come.

{ Minigh Family }

How honored am I that this family drove two hours one way for a 9 am session with me?  So very honored.  We really could not have asked for a better session. Beautiful family, beautiful spring morning and beautiful natural light.

Thank you Stacey for booking another session with me!  I hope you enjoy these images for many years to come.
